Skincare was one of the top items on Blair’s Christmas list this year. Because she’s only 6 years old, I wanted to make sure I found some skincare for kids that would be safe for her sensitive skin. I polled my Instagram followers and received several recommendations of skincare for kids to research. Read on to find the top-recommended brands!

Most Popular Skincare for Kids
I received tons of responses from my Instagram followers when I asked about the best skincare for kids. One brand stood out as the overwhelming favorite–about half of the responses I got were recommending the same brand: Bubble skincare. Upon researching, Bubble skincare has a lot of positive selling points:
- Fragrance-free
- Cruelty-free
- Specially formulated for youthful skin
- Affordable!
Because Bubble is so popular, I decided to purchase it for Blair. A lot of people had recommended the Bubble Slam Dunk Moisturizer to me, which seems to be one of their most popular skincare items. So, I wanted to make sure I got some of that for Blair!
I found this Bubble skincare gift set at Walmart and ordered it for her right away. It includes the Slam Dunk moisturizer, as well as the Fresh Start cleanser and Bounce Back toner. The whole Bubble gift set was under $25 when I ordered it, making it a great affordable gift for anyone on your list.
Bubble also offers similar gift sets for oily skin and acne-prone skin, so you can choose the one that best meets your needs.
Skincare Brands for Kids
In addition to Bubble, I received recommendations for several other skincare for kids brands. Here are some of the other most popular skincare brands for kids to check out:
- Dime Skincare
- Evereden Skincare
- The Ordinary (I actually use this one quite a bit myself! I love their Buffet serum.)
- Glow Recipe
- Cetaphil (a classic for a reason!)
- Byoma (this one looks really cute and fun for kids)
- Earth Harbor

Tips for Skincare for Kids
Blair has very sensitive skin, so I am careful about what I allow her to put on it.
One of my best tips for starting a skincare routine for kids is to introduce only one product at a time. Even though I purchased a three-piece set for her, I’m only going to let her start with a single product for a few days to make sure she doesn’t have any kind of reaction to it. If you start putting multiple products on your skin at one time and you have a reaction to one of them, it’s difficult to discern which product caused the reaction because multiple new things happened at once. I think of it as introducing new foods to a baby–you always do one food at a time for the first several foods.
I am hopeful that Blair’s new Bubble skincare routine will be a hit with her on Christmas morning! It’s amazing to me how kids are getting interested in skincare so young now. I can’t imagine having asked my parents for skincare when I was 6 years old! But, after spending a lot of time ruining my skin in tanning beds as a teenager/young adult, I’m glad to see the next generation is taking better care of their skin. In fact, Blair’s even inspired me to do better with my own skincare routine!
