My son is now the ripe old age of 2, which means it’s time for my initiation into the world of Being a Soccer Mom. I want to do something special with Colton during the last few months before Baby arrives, so we signed him up for a parent/child soccer “clinic.” It’s basically a group of preschoolers getting together every weekend to kick a ball back and forth to their parents between tantrums. And continuously asking if it’s snack time yet.
Of course, a huge part of Soccer Mom duties is bringing snacks! But, finding cute and creative soccer snack ideas can be challenging. Read on for the tutorial on the soccer snacks Colton helped me assemble when it was his turn to bring soccer team treats…

We’ve made some major progress in our monochrome baby girl nursery since the last time I wrote about Baby’s room. I can’t believe she’ll be joining us in just 2 short months! I’ve been working quite a bit to make sure her room is ready for her arrival… since, let’s be real, I won’t have any time to work on the nursery once she’s here. Honestly, sometimes the thought of entertaining 2 children all day scares me. At least newborns don’t require much entertainment. Just milk. Lots and lots and lots of milk. But enough about that, I’m excited to show you what I’ve been working on!

Our sweet baby girl is set to make her arrival in less than 3 months, which means nursery preparations are in full swing! My nesting instinct has kicked in a lot earlier with this baby than my first. That’s probably for the best, since I have a lot less time to work on the nursery this time around. Taking care of a 2-year-old takes up the majority of my time! Who would’ve thought? Since nesting is on my mind, today I’m sharing 5 Posh Ways to Personalize your Baby’s Nursery. Read on to find out how we’re making Baby Girl’s nursery personalized just for her!
This sausage, egg, and hashbrown breakfast casserole recipe is the perfect make-ahead breakfast! Recently, it was my turn to help provide breakfast for my MOPs group. I’m not a morning person (at all!), so it’s hard enough for me to get out of the house in time for our meetings without having to add cooking to my hectic morning. I knew I needed to bring something that I could make the night before, and this breakfast casserole was just the ticket. In the morning, all I had to do was bake and go. Plus, this breakfast casserole tastes really, really good. Which is a real bonus when it comes to recipes, especially ones that you’re sharing with a large group of people.
