I’m in total disbelief that Baby #2 will be here in less than 2 months! We’ve been hard at work preparing for her arrival, including decorating her nursery and curating her wardrobe. My son is now the ripe old age of 2, which means it’s time for my initiation into the world of Being a Soccer Mom. I want to do something special with Colton during the last few months before Baby arrives, so we signed him up for a parent/child soccer “clinic.” It’s basically a group of preschoolers getting together every weekend to kick a ball back and forth to their parents between tantrums. We’ve made some major progress in our monochrome baby girl nursery since the last time I wrote about Baby’s room. I can’t believe she’ll be joining us in just 2 short months! I’ve been working quite a bit to make sure her room is ready for her arrival… since, let’s be real, I won’t have any time to work on the nursery once she’s here. Honestly, sometimes the thought of entertaining 2 children all day scares me. At least newborns don’t require much entertainment. Just milk. Lots and lots and lots of milk. My little guy loves reading! I’ve always been a voracious reader and it’s my hope that my children are the same way. If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you know that my 2-year-old already likes to read books on his own. And by read, I mean that he says “words words words words words” as he moves through the pages. Close enough, right?
