Blair and I had so much fun traveling together to her dance competition recently! We traveled to Rogers, Arkansas for Blair to compete at In10sity Dance competition. Because this was a new destination for us, I spent a lot of time researching to find the best hotel in Rogers Arkansas. We ended up spending two evening at the Aloft Rogers AR and had a wonderful time! I took lots of photos during our stay so I can share this hotel with you!

We live in Kansas City, so Rogers AR is just over a 3 hour drive for us. Like with our trips to Branson, MO and Tulsa, OK this dance season, Blair and I decided to travel just the two of us. Last year, we only had one dance road trip and Alexis came with us since she was still nursing quite a bit at that time. Now, Alexis is a busy 2-year-old and isn’t the easiest travel buddy, so she’s stayed home with Dad and Bubba while Blair and I are on the road.
Of course, I miss everyone while we are gone, but I love getting to spend some one-on-one time with Blair!
Because there were thunderstorms and even tornadoes all around, I took Blair out of school at lunchtime so we could take our time making our way down to Arkansas. We ran into a few iffy spots of rain, but it was an overall uneventful drive.
I had debated whether or not to take her out of school early, but ended up being so glad that I did. Apparently there was some lightning near the school at dismissal time, so they actually kept the kids inside the school longer than normal and wouldn’t release them to the parents. My poor husband and Alexis were stuck sitting in the car waiting for Colton for quite a long time. I know I would’ve been stressing trying to make the drive to Arkansas after that!
As it turned out, Blair and I pulled into the parking lot of the Aloft Rogers right as Colton finally got out of school. We talked to him in the parking lot for a few minutes, then we headed in to explore our home away from home for the next couple days!
The Aloft Rogers had a spacious parking lot with plenty of close, free parking available. Here is Blair rolling her own suitcase in (real ones remember when she picked out this suitcase herself!). She’s a little travel pro at this point.
We got our room key and it was time to explore!
Our room at the Aloft Rogers Arkansas had 2 beds and 2 large windows. The room was very clean and quite spacious.
The desk area doubled as a “table” for us to eat dinner that first night. After that, we spent most of our mealtimes at the competition venue!
The bathroom had a large vanity area and a very nice shower. I was especially excited to find Drybar products in the bathroom!
The whole property had a really nice modern vibe.
The Aloft Rogers Arkansas lobby bar area was a beautiful set up.
There was plenty of seating and games in the lobby, including a pool table. There was also an outdoor pool which would be great if we are able to visit again during the summer!

Beautiful view of the Aloft Rogers AR at sunset! Blair and I really enjoyed our stay at Aloft and it was the perfect home away from home for us. We look forward to staying again next time we are in the Rogers Bentonville area!
