This is my second year of being the Room Mom for Colton’s preschool class. My main responsibility is party planning, which I know can be daunting. As we approach Halloween this year, I wanted to share my preschool Halloween party plans for those of you embarking on this same room parent journey!

Yesterday, we had a Tutu Cute birthday party to celebrate our little Blair turning the big TWO! When I was looking for 2nd birthday party ideas, I was really drawn to the tutu cute theme because our little girl loves to dance. I also liked how the play on words [tutu/two-two], kind of like the Blair in ONEderland party I did for her last year.

I’ll always remember my first Mother’s Day after becoming a mom. Colton was about 4 months old, not sleeping through the night, and I was barely functional as a human due to the lack of sleep… but my heart was fuller than it had ever been.
On my first Mother’s Day, my boys let me sleep in [well, that was more my husband!], brought me breakfast in bed, and we spent the day as a little family of 3. It was perfect.
