With snow in the forecast here in Kansas City, I’m reminiscing on some of our summer travels to warmer destinations. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again–I am not made for the cold. My daughter Blair and I have made several trips to Tulsa, Oklahoma over the past couple of years for her dance competitions. My daughter Blair and I just returned from a weekend in Omaha, and I’m excited to share about our trip with you! We visited Omaha for Blair to compete at a dance convention, which was a bit of a full circle moment for me because I remember traveling to Omaha for gymnastics meets when I was a kid. I knew Blair would want to swim during some of her off time, so I was specifically looking for downtown Omaha hotels with pool — and when I came across the Cambria Hotel Omaha Downtown, I knew it would be perfect for us!
